Accessibility notes: The sessions are throughout the town of La Conner and within easy walking distance. But, there is a hill to climb to reach the Methodist Church, the Civic Garden Club and the History Museum. The shortest way to get up the hill is to take the steps from South First Street. You’ll find a sturdy bench midway. The longer, more gradual ascent would be to use South Second Street on either side of town.

Arianne True, the current WA State Poet Laureate, was set to be a festival poet, but is unable to attend due to her severe case of Long Covid, and unfortunately recovery is difficult as there are still currently no approved treatments for this illness. We wish her well and look forward to opportunities for collaboration in the future.
